Overview

Angie is an experienced litigator who represents businesses and individuals throughout the United States, with a focus on commercial disputes, transportation law, business torts, products liability, and insurance issues. She handles all stages of civil litigation, including navigating discovery, dispositive briefing, trial, and appeals. She has tried cases in both state and federal court.  Angie’s favorite aspect of being an attorney is working closely with clients and colleagues to find creative solutions to complicated issues. Angie earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Miami University.  She has been named to The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” and to the Ohio Super Lawyers “Rising Star” lists.




Practices

    • Part of national trial counsel team handling a broad mix of litigation for America’s largest family-owned and operated food and hospitality provider with a fleet of over 1,300 semi-trucks and box trucks operating in 38 states.
    • Regularly represents transportation companies in catastrophic accident litigation.
    • Represented major insurance carriers in coverage litigation, including cases with bad faith allegations.
    • Assisted to obtain positive verdict for a winery in a case pursuant to the Ohio Alcoholic Beverages Franchise Act.
    • Represented both plaintiffs and defendants in business tort litigation.
    • Successfully negotiated favorable settlements in several business and commercial contract disputes.
    • Secured numerous dismissals of state-law claims brought by consumers against several multinational corporations.
    • Obtained dismissals in numerous toxic tort matters as the result of dispositive briefing.
