World Class Business Development Support

We equip lateral hires with strategic marketing and business development support typically offered by much larger firms.  Our proven process ensures that entrepreneurial attorneys can take their practice to the next level, growing it as they see fit based on their clients and the industries they serve. We further support their efforts through business development coaching and a dedicated client development budget.

“I brought a valued colleague with me to Frantz Ward and the firm made our move seamless. Before our start date and in the months that followed, the firm had a detailed plan in place to support every element of our transition. I could not be more impressed or grateful for the firmwide support.”

—Cynthia A. Lammert, Partner

“I originally joined the firm as an associate, and in less than a decade thanks to Frantz Ward’s support, have been able to establish and build a successful cannabis law practice and become nationally recognized as a leader in the field.”

—Thomas G. Haren, Partner I Chair, Cannabis Law Group I Management Committee

“After over twenty years of experience working with clients, I moved to Frantz Ward and have been continuously impressed with the tools the firm offers to empower lawyers for success at all stages of their career. This is a caring, literal open-door office environment, with excellent company benefits and a chance to grow personally and professionally.”

—Gina M. Ciani, Partner

“Frantz Ward is perfect for those who have an entrepreneurial spirt, want to make an impact, and enjoy firmwide support in your endeavors. I was once a lateral hire, and the firm’s culture of embracing laterals was an integral part of my election as the first-ever Managing Partner and the inaugural Management Committee.”

—Christopher G. Keim, Managing Partner I Management Committee

Training and Mentorship

We develop all attorneys through a formal mentorship program that has been in place since our founding and continuously evolves to address today’s needs. Through the firm’s mentorship program, our partners actively teach, evaluate and counsel our firm’s associates in all aspects of the practice of law—from substantive legal knowledge and practice skills to legal operations and business development. We entrust our associates with client-facing experience as soon as they join the firm, and we offer additional training through our Associate Development Committee.

Team Building and Collaboration

To foster connection and collaboration, the firm organizes team building and family events throughout the year.  Our unique annual holiday party includes our team members’ significant others, children, and grandchildren of all ages for dinner and fun events, from face painting to a martini bar.

The firm recognizes Administrative Professionals Day with a luncheon outing for the entire firm and celebrates an annual Founder Day reception, with additional events throughout the year including baseball’s Opening Day, chili cook-offs, and ice cream socials.
