Mike Chesney represents management in all aspects of labor and employment law, including representing employers in court, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and other disputes. He advises companies, both large and small, on human resources issues and litigation prevention, including advice on terminations, compliance with employment laws, workplace investigations and the preparation of policies and employment agreements. Mike prides himself on providing strategic and practical advice to minimize the risk of employment litigation. Should litigation arise, Mike is a prepared, practical and aggressive advocate for his clients. He has successfully represented employers in single plaintiff and class/collective actions in state and federal courts, arbitration matters, and before administrative agencies throughout the country.
Matt Kadish's practice covers a wide range of tax-related areas, including estate planning and business succession, foreign bank account reporting (FBAR) and related issues, entity taxation, exempt organizations, and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service and U.S. Tax Court. In his free time, Matt represents the nation's small businesses with the Small Business Council of America (SBCA), the voice of privately-owned business in Washington, D.C. on income and estate tax, benefits and health care matters. He has served for many years as the SBCA's Vice-President of Legislation, and testified in 2007 at the invitation of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on tax relief for small businesses. Since 2012, Matt has served as CEO of the SBCA.
Brian Kelly focuses his practice on the representation of management in all phases of labor relations and employment litigation. Brian regularly represents employers in litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and arbitrators involving employment discrimination and harassment, wrongful discharge, theft of trade secrets, breaches of non-compete agreements and other employment contract topics. Brian also has extensive experience counseling employers on employment topics ranging from FMLA and ADA compliance to reduction in workforce planning and implementation. In the labor relations area, Brian has significant experience in collective bargaining negotiation, union avoidance techniques and strike disputes. Brian has also developed and implemented personnel policies and in-house training programs on a variety of labor and employment law topics.
Marc Sanchez devotes his entire practice to construction law, representing contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, design professionals and sureties. He has extensive experience with construction-related litigation, mediation, arbitration, claims management, claims avoidance, insurance coverage and contract negotiation. Marc serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and is a Charter Fellow in the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He is named to the Ohio Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America lists and is voted AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
