Partner Melissa A. Jones Appointed to the City of Hudson Planning Commission

Frantz Ward is pleased to share that partner Melissa A. Jones is appointed to the City of Hudson Planning Commission. She will serve a four-year term on the Commission. Melissa was also most recently a member of the City of Hudson Charter Review Committee.

The City of Hudson Planning Commission acts on commercial and industrial site plans, conditional uses and subdivisions of land. It makes recommendations to Hudson City Council concerning amendments to the zoning code and zoning map, the Growth Management Allocation systems and the Comprehensive Plan. The Hudson Architectural and Historic Board of Review (AHBR), Board of Zoning and Building Appeals (BZBA), and Planning Commission (PC) work together, as necessary, for all building and zoning projects.

Melissa focuses her legal practice in multiple disciplines of commercial credit management and enforcement remedies, including within the private and public construction industry. She provides comprehensive representation to businesses nationwide in all phases of multifaceted recovery claims. She frequently lectures on complex creditor’s rights procedures, including lien rights and remedies, and on ethics in the legal profession. Melissa earned her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her B.A., with Honors, from The Ohio State University.
