Christopher Koehler Named to Leadership Cleveland Class of 2017

Frantz Ward LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher C. Koehler, partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice, has been named to the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2017.

Leadership Cleveland is an intensive 10-month program that empowers recognized, senior-level leaders with additional knowledge, skills and relationships to advance and deepen their community impact. It engages participants in opportunities to address community issues through collaborative civic leadership while developing a broader and more diverse set of relationships among peers. Class members, who are diverse organizational leaders from a wide variety of private, nonprofit, and public-sector institutions, are selected through a competitive and highly selective application process by the Cleveland Leadership Center.

Christopher C. Koehler handles trial and litigation of business disputes of all types, including claims involving business torts, trade secrets, non-competition agreements, and breach of contract and warranty claims. He also has extensive experience in the defense of product liability and toxic tort claims, and has represented manufacturers of a wide range of products, including automobiles, industrial equipment and various consumer products. He helps clients navigate disputes, whether by handling litigation or by counseling them on how to best avoid or resolve their disputes. Chris is very active in his community, with leadership roles in his parish and several local nonprofit organizations, most notably the West Side Catholic Center. Chris earned his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

After a commencement ceremony in June 2017, Chris will join more than 1,700 other community leaders who have completed the program in its past 38 years, and more than 6,000 members of the Cleveland Leadership Center Alumni Association. Many Leadership Cleveland alumni continue their involvement for a second year as LC2 Fellows to engage in an outcome-driven project that leaves a legacy for Northeast Ohio.
