Marc A. Sanchez participated in the 2023 Construction Law Seminar Program, "Reaching New Heights While Avoiding the Precipices." The program, presented by ALFA International, took place in Whistler, British Columbia from July 26 – 28, 2023.
At the plenary session, “Clean Energy Production and Resilient Design: Climbing the “Range” of Challenges to a Panorama of Opportunities,” Ian moderated a panel that discussed the transitioning landscape of clean energy production and how to best handle it.
Marc moderated the panel, “Performance Bonds and Commercial General Liability Insurance for Construction Projects: Understanding the Differences and Overlap,” during which participants discussed:
- Distinctions between insurance and suretyship
- The potential overlap and interplay between those two products
- Best practices to minimize risk and maximize coverage
