Frantz Ward is pleased to announce that George S. Coakley and Cynthia A. Lammert, formerly of Coakley + Lammert Co. LPA, have joined the firm.

George Coakley is a trial lawyer and appellate advocate with an eclectic and far reaching practice. Most of his current work involves the representation of professionals including architects, engineers, lawyers and real estate brokers in civil litigation matters.
George has extensive jury trial experience in the state and federal courts in Ohio. In addition, George has considerable appellate experience including appearances before the Ohio Supreme Court, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Recently, George has developed a mediation component to his busy practice.
George is perennially recognized as a “super lawyer” or “leading lawyer” by various professional groups. He is known as a true “lawyer’s lawyer” who has given back to the profession and his community through various pursuits. George has handled pro bono cases for the Cleveland Legal Aid Society since becoming a lawyer. Recently, George has become involved in several programs designed to mentor younger lawyers in the Cleveland area.
Cindy Lammert's practice focuses on real estate professional liability representation and defense. She represents residential and commercial real estate brokerages, real estate trade associations, inspectors, appraisers, and title and escrow companies throughout Ohio in real estate and professional liability defense litigation. She also practices extensively before the Ohio Division of Real Estate, Ohio Real Estate Commission, and Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
As outside general counsel to real estate brokerages state-wide, Cindy assists clients with transactional issues, regulatory compliance, policy development, transactional documents and best practices to ensure compliance and diminish risk.
Cindy has been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer and is peer-rated by the Martindale Hubbell® directory as AV Preeminent, the highest level of professional excellence. Cindy earned her juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1991 and was admitted to the Ohio bar that year. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French as well as a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Bowling Green State University.
