Allison Taller Reich Receives the Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under

Frantz Ward is proud to announce that construction attorney, Allison Taller Reich, received the Ohio State Bar Foundation Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under for District 12. This award was presented during the Ohio State Bar Association’s District 12 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association in Cleveland.

The Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under is presented to attorneys, 40 years of age or younger, who contribute substantial time and effort in service to a local social service, or a local civic, artistic, or cultural organization. The service must be outside the recipients' practice of law and must be given without compensation. Emphasis is placed on current service. Recipients should represent the ideals of the legal profession and, by example, be a credit to the profession.

Recognized as “One to Watch” by Community Leader Magazine in February 2016, Allison is actively involved in the greater Cleveland community. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the United Way of Greater Cleveland’s Young Leaders Cabinet and has been a member of the cabinet since 2012. She is Past Chair (2015-2016) of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cleveland Bridge Board and has been a member since 2010. Furthermore, she is a Trustee of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association and a College Now Greater Cleveland mentor. Allison is a Step Up Downtown Advisory Committee Member for the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and was a City Advocate from 2011-2013. She participates in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3Rs Program, which teaches constitution and government topics to high school students in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, as well as the Partners in Justice Program, supporting the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland. Allison is also involved in several legal and professional associations including the National Association of Women in Construction. She graduated from Cleveland Leadership Center’s Civic Leadership Institute in 2015.

In her legal practice, Allison focuses on all aspects of construction law, including drafting, negotiating, and revising contracts; assisting clients manage claims, projects, and schedules in real time to keep projects moving; and resolving disputes between her clients. She strives to obtain the best possible result for her clients at the earliest opportunity. Because of this, Allison engages in negotiations and mediations before and in addition to arbitration hearings and litigation proceedings including trials. She goes “all-in” for her clients because she understands the issues they face—large and small—can make or break for each client.

Allison received her J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her B.S. in Architecture from The Ohio State University.
