Marc has been actively involved with the Hispanic community in the Cleveland area for many years. He was a long-time board member of El Barrio and The Centers for Families and Children, where he received the Volunteer of the Year Award for the El Barrio Workforce Development Program in 2017. Marc was a member of the inaugural Hispanic Leaders Alliance Class of 2018. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Cleveland Leadership Center.
Marc devotes his entire practice to construction law, representing contractors, specialty contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, design professionals and sureties. He advises clients on claim management and avoidance, risk management and insurance, scheduling and safety issues as well as minority certification and compliance. Marc negotiates and drafts all types of construction contracts, perfects and enforces mechanics’ liens, prosecutes and defends defective workmanship claims and surety bond claims. He also is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and is a Charter Fellow in the Construction Lawyers Society of America. He is named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list, The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Construction Law and Litigation-Construction and is voted AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Marc earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and has an A.B., with Honors, from Duke University.
