Ian Frank recently attended the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF)’s 23
rd Annual International Conference in Washington, D.C.
The conference highlighted insights from major users and supporters of dispute boards, as well as new ideas affecting current and future projects around the world.
The DRBF is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the dispute board method, which utilizes boards of impartial professionals formed at the beginning of a construction project to encourage dispute avoidance and assist in dispute resolution. To learn more about dispute boards, visit the

A DRBF member since 2010, Ian is currently a board member for several DRBF panels for various projects across the country. In addition to being actively involved in dispute resolution as an advocate, Ian is a trained mediator and an arbitrator, serving on the AAA Construction Industry Panel. Ian is Chair of Frantz Ward’s Construction Practice Group and is a well-known and trusted advisor to the construction industry, dedicating his practice to all aspects of construction and surety law.
