Jonathan M. Scandling, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice, has earned certification in the OSHA 30 Outreach Training Program. Jon joins Partner
Christina E. Niro, also OSHA 30 certified, and several other Frantz Ward attorneys who represent and advise employers in all phases of compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Mine Safety and Health Act, state administrative safety regulations, and related workplace safety issues.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
Jon focuses his practice on the representation of management in all aspects of labor and employment law. He provides counseling and training to clients for best practices on a wide range of human resource issues such as terminations, compliance with employment laws, workplace investigations, and the preparation of policies and employment agreements. Jon has extensive experience in public sector labor & employment law, with much of his practice revolving around traditional labor matters. He is named to the Ones to Watch list by The Best Lawyers in America. Jon earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.S.,
magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
