- Successfully resolved a matter before trial for a $9 billion manufacturer after being retained a mere six weeks before trial to replace the manufacturer’s counsel in a case involving a multi-million-dollar exposure arising out of an alleged defective product that caused permanent injuries to the plaintiff.
- Defense at trial of a Global 500 manufacturer against a $50 million claim for breach of an agreement to develop and sell military products.
- Secured defense jury verdict for a bearings manufacturer in a $15 million grain dust explosion case involving catastrophic burn injuries, prevailing on manufacturing defect and warnings claims at trial and obtaining summary judgment on design claims.
- Secured defense jury verdicts for ladder manufacturers of both retractable staircases and stepladders in cases alleging brain and other permanent injuries involving claims of manufacturing defect and failure to warn.
- Obtained dismissal of a Class III medical device for elective sterilization based on federal pre-emption.
