Dan's practice is focused on matters related to real estate, transactional law, and real estate taxation. He regularly represents clients in structuring real estate development acquisitions and the restructuring of real estate and commercial lending transactions.
His experience encompasses a range of commercial property matters including the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, mortgage financing transactions, lease negotiations and property tax. His counsel has addressed a range of tax issues including taxes pertaining to not-for-profit entities, transferee liability, reorganization of corporate entities and federal tax reassessments.
He has appeared on behalf of clients regarding tax valuation issues at the Board of Revision, Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, Court of Common Pleas and the Ohio Supreme Court.
